Our strategy

The “Revision of the PKP CARGO Group Strategy for 2019–2023” confirms the Group’s existing vision and mission, modifying the strategic objectives:

  • 1 position in the Three Seas region and on the New Silk Road routes within the EU in terms of workload and cargo carried until 2023 and strengthening the position between 2023 and 2038.
  • 50% share in the Polish rail freight market by 2027 in terms of freight shipped.

Investing in the future

The operations of the PKP CARGO Group are focused on building a wide range of logistics services, which includes freight, terminal services, distribution and warehousing and other support services. Our investments are focused on:

  • the rolling stock – wagons and locomotives – required for freight shipping.
  • logistics infrastructure – expenditure on new equipment and retrofitting of container terminals, and retrofitting and construction of storage yards, and development of IT systems.

Multimodal terminal
Zduńska Wola – Karsznice

It completes the network of multimodal terminals in central Poland and makes the rail freight offer in the region more attractive.
