Appointment of the President of the Management Board and termination of the secondment of a Member of the Supervisory Board to perform the duties of actin

The administrator of the rehabilitation estate of PKP CARGO S.A. under restructuring (the “Company”) hereby announces that, following a recruitment process, on January 28, 2026, the Company’s Supervisory Board adopted Resolution No. 354/ VIII/2026 on the appointment of Mr. Zbigniew Prus to the Management Board, entrusting him with the function of President of the Management Board with effect from February 2, 2026, for the period of the joint ninth term of office.

At the same time, the Supervisory Board of the Company will, by way of a resolution, terminate the secondment of Ms. Monika Starecka, Member of the Supervisory Board, to temporarily perform the duties of a Member of the Management Board of the Company and the duties of the President of the Management Board, effective February 2, 2026.

According to the statements submitted, Mr. Zbigniew Prus does not conduct any activity competitive to the Company and does not participate in any competitive company as a partner in a civil law partnership, partnership, capital company, nor does he participate in a competitive legal entity as a member of its governing body, and he is not listed in the Register of Insolvent Debtors maintained pursuant to the Act on the National Court Register.
