Results of the sale of decommissioned locomotives

The Administrator of the sanation estate of PKP CARGO S.A. under restructuring (“the Company,” “PKP CARGO”) announces that on October 19, 2026, it was informed of the completion of the process of signing contracts with bidders who participated in the electronic auction, which began on March 4, 2026, as part of the proceedings for the sale of 337 decommissioned locomotives (“Locomotives”).

A total of 106 out of 337 locomotives were sold for a net amount of 26.4 million PLN. Proceeds from the sale of the locomotives will be recognized in the consolidated financial results for the third quarter of 2026 in the amount of 24.6 million PLN and for the fourth quarter of 2026 in the amount of 1.8 million PLN.

At the same time, the Administrator announces that on September 24, 2026, proceedings were initiated regarding an electronic auction for the sale of the remaining locomotives that did not find buyers in the proceedings that began on March 4, 2026.

The sale of the aforementioned locomotives is a continuation of efforts to sell rolling stock that is no longer necessary for the Company’s operations, as outlined in the Restructuring Plan, enabling the Company to raise funds for the implementation of other priority restructuring measures.
