Resignation of Members of the Management Board of PKP Cargo S.A. under restructuring and Assignment of a Member of the Supervisory Board to Temporarily Perform the Duties of the President of the Management Board

The Administrator of the sanation estate of PKP CARGO S.A. under restructuring (“PKP CARGO,” “the Company”) announces that today, the members of the Management Board of PKP CARGO S.A. in restructuring – namely, Mr. Zbigniew Prus, Mr. Michał Łotoszyński, and Mr. Paweł Miłek, submitted statements to the Supervisory Board resigning from their positions on the Company’s Management Board effective October 1, 2026, due to the court’s decision dated September 29, 2026, revoking the Company’s authorization to manage the entirety of its business within the scope not exceeding that of ordinary management, as the Company reported in Current Report No. 79/2026.

At the same time, today the Company’s Supervisory Board, by Resolution No. 20/IX/2026, appointed Ms. Monika Starecka – a member of the Supervisory Board – to temporarily, i.e., from October 2, 2026, to December 31, 2026, perform the duties of the Company’s President of the Management Board and, for the duration of the assignment, entrusted Ms. Monika Starecka with the duties of President of the Management Board of PKP CARGO.

According to the statements submitted, Ms. Monika Starecka does not engage in any business activities that compete with the Company, nor does she participate in a competing entity as a partner in a civil law partnership, a partnership, a corporation, nor does she participate in a competing legal entity as a member of its governing body, and she is not listed in the Register of Insolvent Debtors maintained pursuant to the Act on the National Court Register.
