Monika Starecka

acting President of the Management Board

Since 18 April 2024, Director of the Financial Division at PKP S.A.

From 2019 to April 2024, Director of the Finance Division at Szybka Kolej Miejska sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Warsaw, overseeing the areas of accounting, controlling and obtaining and accounting for EU funds. Participated in activities aimed at improving the efficiency of the company’s operations and development.

Appointed to the ENEA S.A. Supervisory Board on 30 January 2024, seconded as a Supervisory Board Member to temporarily perform the duties of President of the ENEA S.A. Management Board since 2 February 2024, and seconded to temporarily perform the duties of ENEA S.A. Management Board Member for Corporate Affairs from 1 March 2024 to 30 April 2024.

Since 2019, has been running Equinox Consulting, a consulting firm providing financial and operational advisory services, soft skills training, coaching and mentoring sessions for entrepreneurs and members of corporate governing bodies.

From 2014 to 2018, Management Board Member and Chief Operating Officer of EY Poland (formerly: Ernst & Young) where she was responsible for all business support areas: finance, marketing, human resources management, IT, legal, procurement, asset management and administration. Also participated in projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, boosting inclusiveness, supporting the development of women, increasing employee satisfaction and improving internal customer service.

From 2010 to 2014, Management Board Member and Chief Financial Officer of the SMYK Group. Oversaw 15 companies based in 10 countries. Used to be responsible for the areas of finance, legal and internal control at all SMYK companies located in Poland, Germany, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Romania, Czechia, Switzerland, etc. Participated in acquisition projects across Europe.

From 2008 to 2010, CFO of Telepizza Poland where she was responsible for the areas of finance, human resources management, IT, investments and occupational safety and health at Telepizza’s own and franchised restaurants and factories.

From 2002 to 2008, Director of the Finance Department of Vattenfall Heat Poland (formerly: Elektrociepłownie Warszawskie). Also a member of a project team dealing with restructuring of the areas of procurement, sales, strategic planning, non-productive asset management, finance and cash management.

In 2001-2002, Chief Financial Officer of RTC Poland, a niche advertising agency. From 1996 to 2000, Experienced Consultant and Project Manager at Arthur Andersen in the Audit and Business Advisory Departments. Most of her clients were companies in the power and fuel sectors.

Certified auditor since 2003. Certified as an International Coach by the International Coaching Community (ICC). Graduated from the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw, completed postgraduate studies in Human Resource Management at Jagiellonian University and Advanced Leadership and Management at Oxford University.

Paweł Miłek

Vice -President of the Management Board, Restructuring Director

A graduate of law from the University of Wrocław, Paweł completed his judicial training in 1997 and his legal counsel training in 1999. Since 1997, he has served as a receiver in bankruptcy proceedings, as well as a supervisor and administrator in restructuring cases. On February 9, 2022, he was awarded the professional title of Qualified Restructuring Advisor. Since January 2000, he has been working as a legal counsel. He also held the position of Vice-Chairman of the Circuit Disciplinary Court at the Circuit Chamber of Legal Counsel in Wrocław. From 2021 to 2023, he served as the President of the Lower Silesian Association of Receivers.

Sebastian Miller

Operations Director

Sebastian has extensive experience as a manager in the railway industry, as well as in other industrial sectors. Since 2001 for over a decade he led contracts and managed projects at Polimex-Mostostal S.A. (formerly ZREW S.A.), ERBUD, and MONCOBRA. From 2019 to 2024, he served as Director of the Technical Division at Szybka Kolej Miejska in Warsaw, overseeing service and technical operations. In 2024, he was appointed Advisor to the President of the Management Board, where he was responsible for overseeing and reorganising the company’s operational area.

The new Operations Director is a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Energetics, and Aeronautics at the Warsaw University of Technology, with a specialisation in Mechanics and Machine Construction. He also holds an MBA from the Gdańsk Foundation for Management Development.

Artur Warsocki

Commercial Director

Artur is a graduate of the Faculty of Foreign Trade at the University of Gdańsk. In 2007, he earned an Executive MBA from the Gdańsk Foundation for Management Development and RSM Erasmus University, one of the world’s leading business schools. He began his professional career at Rafineria Gdańska S.A. in 1998. In 2003, he joined the LOTOS S.A. Group, where he held various managerial positions. From 2008 to 2012, as Director of Sales Management, he was responsible for wholesale fuel sales at the refinery. Between 2012 and 2014, he led the development of the aviation fuels business, successfully launching LOTOS aviation fuel sales at all major airports in Poland. As President of LOTOS Tank, he oversaw the restructuring and transformation of the company into a joint venture with the multinational Air BP. Following the establishment of LOTOS-Air BP, he assumed the role of President of the Management Board.

He has been actively involved in the logistics industry since 2015. From 2015 to 2017, as Commercial Director of the CTL Logistics Group and a Member of the Board of CTL Logistics GmbH, he expanded the sales network for rail freight in the Polish and German markets. Since 2017, he has been linked with the logistics and freight forwarding sector at seaports in Poland.

Michał Łotoszyński

Finance Director

Graduated of the Faculty of Management and Marketing, University of Lodz.
He completed and passed the MBA (Master of Business Administration) exam at the Gdansk Foundation for Management Education and at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. He is certified in PRINCE II, Project Management and CRM, Management 2004 - Harvard Business School Publishing, Canadian International Management Institute and completed a course for candidates for members of supervisory boards and management boards of state-owned companies.
He has 25 years of experience in finance and management, including, in particular, financial management, building new products as well as creating corporate strategies, implementing IT projects and restructuring, repairing and acquiring business entities.
Professionally, he was associated with the banking sector, among others. He worked at PKO Bank Polski, PKO S.A. Pension Society and BOŚ Investment Mgt. At the Pension Society, he co-created an IT system for asset valuation according to the Embedded Value model and amortization of acquisition costs
over time.
He managed a car and van rental company - 99RENT Sp. z o.o., where, in addition to development, a system was built to manage short- and medium-term rentals. Then, after taking over the Enterprise/National/Alamo franchise, he rebuilt the company's position on the Polish market.
He served as a Member of the Board of Directors for Finance at PZU Tower (PZU Group property management), Arcus S.A. and Arcus Systemy Informatyczne. During his work for Ciech S.A., he was responsible for restructuring, building the group's strategy, IPO project and acquisitions of companies
from the EU area of the chemical industry.
He served on the supervisory boards of business entities: Zakład Urządzeń Przemysłowych Nysa S.A., Pedmo Tychy S.A., Polcomerce KFT, Biowet Drawel S.A., Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa
Ogólnego S.A. in Wroclaw, Radpol S.A. Człuchów, and Arcus S.A.
